Secretary of Iran’s Human Rights Commission in Japan

TOKYO (IRNA) -- Secretary of Iran’s Human Rights Commission Mohammad-Javad Larijani arrived in Tokyo on Monday to discuss with Japanese officials on human rights.

During his stay in Japan, Larijani is also to hold talks with his Japanese counterpart on judicial relations.
Talking to IRNA upon arrival in Tokyo, Larijani said his visit is a chance to explain some political issues on human rights and the judiciary system in Iran the Japanese officials.
The Iranian official said Iran and Japan have good relations and there are grounds for ties expansion despite foreigners’ attempts to strain Tehran-Tokyo relations.
Larijani said there are good grounds for judicial cooperation between Iran and Japan.
Iranian delegation wants to brief the Japanese party on Iran’s stance concerning regional and international issues, Larijani said.
Larijani is scheduled to hold talks with senior Japanese officials, including Foreign Minister Masahiko Komura.
